Re: JUNE 2019 ANGUS BIRD SIGHTINGS
Thursday June 27th 2019 - 1030hrs
Large raptor, best ID is sub adult/1st summer Golden Eagle, seen distantly, perched on the gable of the Chapel ruin at Kirk Loch, 1km south of Ethie Haven. It was immediately pursued to the north by two Peregrines and lost to sight. No signal till 1120, maybe worth a look if your north of Lunan area.

Jay in Monifieth garden
Since Tuesday 26th June i have had a jay on my bird table several times a day.
Came down to the bird table although we were only yards away having a barbecue,
possibly a young bird? great views without binoculars.

Re: JUNE 2019 ANGUS BIRD SIGHTINGS
Reports on Birdguides of a Giant Petrel heading up the east coast, might be worth looking for from Fishtown of Usan or any other decent seawatching point tomorrow morning.
