Pintail drake at Keptie Pond, Arbroath, is very tame and has yellow legs and I suspect may show other anomalies in close photos, no rings though. Also 6 or more Goosanders and 1 Wigeon.
Apparently this hybrid had a neck ring when it turned up last week, it has fallen off.

48 Waxwings this morning at Lower Craigo Street in Montrose

Great White Egret was back at the Wigeon Hide late afternoon, still there at Sunset with a Little Egret next to it for a great comparison. Very mobile though and doesn't stay in the same place very long.

Black Scoter still viewable at 1520 from platform, very clear views even though it was a bit out, the low sun lit up the Black Scoter, Velvets, Commons and Long-tailed Ducks.

Here's a video from the beach, where it was possible in late morning to view well with binoculars.

Merlin chasing a finch at Kinaldie, on the road to Boghead, late afternoon, flew toward Seafield.

Arbroath Harbour, near dusk. Female Long-tailed Duck, Shag with green ring, Guillemot and Dipper on Brothock also ringed.

Two Little Egrets at Lurgies, lunchtime.

Lunan Bay 10am to 11am, Scoter flocks dispersed offshore and very mobile, favouring Corbie. No sign of Black Scoter on a flat sea. Note, if it helps, the cafe is open daily 10 to 4 and it's warm. Also around, 20 Bottlenose Dolphins for most of the hour I was there with one or two very close in and in shallow water.
