Nathro Hill Wind Farm plan in Glen Lethnot

Postby Dave Adam » Wed Feb 29, 2012 9:16 am

Eurowind have plans to erect 17 wind turbines that are 135 metres high on the hills from Glen Lethnot to Glen Ogil. This proposal would destroy the beautiful panoramic backdrop to north Angus.
The wind turbines would stretch for 4 miles in a row across the hills and would interfere with recorded flight paths of large raptors, migratory geese/swans and breeding upland species such as Golden Plover, Dotterel, Dunlin, Red/Black Grouse.
It would be appreciated if you could give some thought and attention to this wind farm plan and support the local action group SWAN, thanks.
