spotting scopes

Postby Mike Fenton » Mon Dec 16, 2013 8:48 pm

hi, we are thinking of buying a spotting scope after a bit of thought. as relative beginners we are unsure what make would be best. the top of the range scopes are out of the question for now but would still like a decent entry level scope, no point in buying if you can get a decent image.
i have seen the Celestron Regal 80 F-ED Spotting Scope, has anyone used one of these? what are folks recomendations?
appreciate any feedback that you can offer.

cheers mike
