Bonaparte’s Gull Larus philadelphia

Ferryden, Montrose, Angus, Scotland

Friday 23rd February 2007

The Bonaparte’s Gull had been present since 16th December 2006. Despite the forecast for “Clear” skies it turned out cloudy and showery, far from ideal conditions for photos. A few shots were taken on the one pass the gull made as it came to bread. (Thanks to Rob Noble-Nesbitt for his bread throwing “Tactics” and enabling me to concentrate on trying to take photos!) Might get some better shots if the weather books up.

Photos taken with a Canon EOS 30D and a Canon 75-300mm Lens.
