Who should coincidentally drop in whilst I was at the Loch, but Harry & Eileen Bickerstaff & Rob Noble-Nesbitt. Was good timing too, as the bird didn’t show until about 15 minutes after they arrived. Shame for the dozen birders who didn’t stick it out. When the bird flew in, it was very confiding. Almost too close for digiscoping at times.
