Barry Buddon, 24/8/2018.

On the beach north of Lighthouse,1 Golden Plover, 17 Grey Plover in breeding plumage, circa 150 Terns including 1 Roseate (photographed), 1 Bar-tailed Godwit, Sanderlings, Dunlin, Ringed Plover, Oystercatchers and Curlews.

Near the Lighthouses, a female Kestrel chasing a smaller raptor, possibly a Merlin or small male Kestrel, also 6 Wheatear and 3 elsewhere. Many Swallows going south but juveniles which looked just fledged being fed on the Golf Links boundary, Range Hut.

Fishtown of Usan.

Pretty quiet this afternoon with only 3 Bonxies flying north being the highlight.

An adult Mediterranean Gull at Arbroath at the shingle out from the childrens playpark with a green Darvik . ASHA

Lintrathen loch this morning still had a Green Sandpiper, 4 Common Sandpiper, 27 Dunlin and over 30 Snipe.
2 Osprey also present.

Pale-bellied Brent Goose still on Montrose Basin at Tayock today.
97 Black-tailed Godwits at Rossie Spit.
Purple Sandpiper on breakwater at Inchcape Park Arbroath for a second day, was flushed from the beach roost near the third seat today by dogs.
