Wheatear - Glen Clova
10am at Rottal in Glen Clova - male Wheatear perched on a fencepost.
An early morning cycle trip round Glen Clova came up with lots of Oystercatcher, Lapwing, Pied Wagtail, etc (about 30 species) but the highlight was the Wheatear.

Re: Wheatear - Glen Clova
Worth keeping an eye out for Dotterel flocks waiting to go up into the high hills. Brechin bird watcher George Crighton recorded seeing a flock of 50 Dotts in a field near the river in Clova - I think in late April many years ago!Grant Balfour wrote:10am at Rottal in Glen Clova - male Wheatear perched on a fencepost.
