Mark it was outside my studio yesterday, gone today. Facebook friends thought it was a possible Siberian Chiffchaff or Chiffchaff of a northern subspecies because of the colouration. No calls but the black legs seem to indicate Siberian. Fairly tame behaviour. Seems to be the same as other photos of Siberian Chiffchaff I have studied online. colours in photos pretty accurate although a dull day for light.

for me, the call would be the clincher as I have seen the species before but limited.
Heads up that the April 2017 issue of Birdwatch magazine will have an article discussing Sibe Chiffchaffs and comaparing to similar warblers. Hopefully help us brush up on this species!
