Little Stint
One Little Stint on the Lurgies path-side shingle opposite the Mill Burn mouth mid afternoon before the tide covered the shingle, was with around 30 Ringed Plover, and some Dunlin flushed by a Peregrine. The waders flew up the Mill Burn at high tide, the Little Egret was sitting in the tall grass with Herons on Miss Erskine's Bank, no sign of Spoonbills.

Spoonbill
One Spoonbill at the Lurgies this evening around 1815 assumed to be one of the two previously reported, it flew upstream from basin direction and landed on edge of shingle upstream of Shelduck Hide. This bird has the black tips to the wing feathers, a 1st summer, the other bird previously seen with it didn't and wasn't seen tonight despite a search of the few channels showing. The Little Egret and a couple of Ospreys also made cameo appearances.

Lunan Bay
Great Northern Diver reported on AGV grapevine by Rod McKenzie was still in Lunan Bay mid-afternoon tending to favour the south side of the bay. There was also what looked like a leucistic Red-throated Diver in the bay too.
The Spoonbill & Little Egret were both roosting on Miss Erskines bank at the Lurgies too.

Quail
One Quail flushed from my feet this morning on Seafield during a Corn Bunting Survey. I won't pinpoint it as it was in a field where I have written permission to go, but it may be heard on a quiet evening from the main track through the farm. There is no parking or access from the Arbroath to Boghead road but parking in Auchmithie and taking the coastal path/track leads up to the farm.

Noticed several House Martins appear to be nesting under eaves on houses in Montrose this year. More than what I normally see.
