A Red Fox, thought to be a young male catching Bank Voles at the Lurgies on Friday 25/8/2017. First seen carrying what looked like a young Water Rail.

Re: 2017 WILDLIFE SIGHTINGS - ADD CURRENT SIGHTINGS HERE
Date & Time: Friday 8th December 2017 - 1440 hrs
Species: Common Seal. (Barry confirmed my original and changed ID, it's a Common Seal. I'd discounted it even though the nostrils were correct given Common Seals give birth in summer).
Details: Common Seal pup sitting on rocks close in as the tide rose at Westhaven, fairly approachable, looks in good condition, might stay around? I can't find a definitive document on seal ID on the web.
