Arbroath, Monday 2nd April 2018.
Iceland Gull and Pale-bellied Brent Goose still at Victoria Park at 1430 today, the Brent flew out to sea at high tide. The Black Redstart remains on the beach behind the Old Brewhouse and is best viewed from the table by the wall. There is a confiding Rock Pipit and sometimes a Grey Wagtail also on the beach.

Auchmithie Trip - 4/4/2018
Thanks for your patience regarding the trip scheduled for today, now taking place on 5/4/2018 at 10.00 am, Auchmithie car park.
The weather was indeed foul but in Arbroath I could see the Iceland Gull at Victoria Park and the Black Redstart behind the Old Brewhouse, no sign of the Brent Goose but it was low tide.
Black Redstart on a better day, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwCzCNJmVSc

Re: APRIL 2018 ANGUS BIRD SIGHTINGS
Saturday 14th April 2018.
The Firecrest at Castlesea Bay, Windyhills Farm, Auchmithie was still present between 2pm and 4pm at least. It was very elusive at times and would show sometimes for a minute or 2, every 30 minutes or longer. It’s easy to lose sight of. Whilst I were there, it favoured the trees 20 metres down the gulley and best viewed from south side. At least 1 Goldcrest was also present just to keep you on your toes...
