Species: Rosefinch
Location: adult male still present showed well briefly mid-morning in the tree beside the first house on the right hand side of the road about 100m past the entrance to the football ground. Newmachar, Aberdeenshire. From Birdguides Website

Loch of Strathbeg HQ is at Starnafin Farm and the pool referred to here, is the pool seen from the viewing area in the main building. It is an RSPB reserve, with free admission, although donations are acceptable

A single wood sandpiper and two greenshank on the small pool in front of
Starnafin and 400+ terns on newly created island in Loch on 18th.
Several whimbrels on the reserve on 17th

Location: Bearded Tit by Logie Buchan bridge, Ythan, Aberdeenshire, Monday evening. Calling then flew across River Ythan 50m upstream of bridge.
