Lesser Yellowlegs and Richard's Pipit
Lesser Yellowlegs again on Rossie Spit today.
Also, eventually, the Richard's Pipit was re-found (Bob McCurley) at Auchmithie at the same place as usual.
This bird was disturbed (by accident) by a birder searching for it this morning and eventually (at about 14:00 ) found again by Bob, John Anderson and Andy Shepherd.
Lots of Linnets (about 140), Yellowhammers (about 35), Corn Buntings (about 40) and a similar number of Goldfinch. Two Kestrels and a Peregrine also seen there.

c500 Woodpigeons north of Arbroath Sunday 26/01/08
A large flock of Woodpigeons appear to be building up north of Arbroath and seen from A92 Arbroath to Montrose road.
First seen in the Priestfield area, they are now in fields between Silverwells and Marykirk at approx NO6543.
I know 'Cushie Doos' aren't rare, but this is a big flock.
