John Paul Allon wrote:Christina & I came across a very odd Pheasant this afternoon at St Cyrus NNR. Silver gray upper parts, very rufus belly & red wattles. Not in any of my guide books & clearly an escapie from somewhwere. Can anyone put a name to it?
Presume there are lots of hybrids between Common Pheasants and escape birds like Silver, Reeves, Lady Amherst's and Golden Pheasant.
