Dec. 22nd. REED BUNTING- PIED WAGTAIL - BUZZARD

Dec, 22nd. 11am REED BUNTING ! - PIED WAGTAIL - BUZZARD - at Kinnordy Terrace Dundee -( my House ! )

I saw these 3 Species for the first time from my House in my back garden area, Buzzard being mobbed by 4 Crows. - must be the Big Freeze !

27 Dec 2010 0630 Letham Grange 632460 With the sleat coming down during paper round nice to hear 2 Tawny Owls calling about 200 yards of each other. Went for walk Boxing Day Arbroath harbour and west links but found nothing special except a very large pod of Dolphins close in to Gayfield Stadium

27 Dec 2010 while dog walking found a very sight. A Grey Heron frozen into one of the burns that run across the golf course. It looks as if it had been standing in the burn looking for something to eat and got frozen in.

Dec. 30th 12noon ROSY RINGED PARAKEET Seen by my neighbour in his garden at Kinnordy Terrace opposite my house at No. 22 Kinnordy Terrace . It flew off towards Lunan Avenue which is at the bottom of Kinnordy Terace .

at least 8 brambling today, beautiful birds. Also siskin,redpoll,GS woodpecker, greenfinch. counted 20 species and oddly haven't seen a robin today at all.

DEC. 31ST PINTAIL

DEc. 31st. 9-50am. PINTAIL In Invergowrie Bay , next to Sewage Outfall pipe ( Just in Dundee District !)

Seen and reported by Club member Philip Cohen , First one he has seen in the Bay for 15 years a good record .
