30/05/2011 Elliot first sign of breeding Reed Bunting taking food into its nesting sight. Millpond nearby Swans with 2 new cygnetsw

31/05/2011 Keptie Pond Arbroath 6 Cygents being closely guarded by parents, Condor East Blue Tits taking food into one of the new bird boxes put up this year, Kirkton Ind State roof 2 fledged Herring gull chicks. Oyester Catchers still on nests at Condor with 11 eggs

We have a large Tern colony on our factory roof in Montrose,normally they clean the roof of any debris in the early spring.This year it wasn't done,leaving nesting material,I think there must be at least a couple of dozen nesting pairs.

the osprey with the blue band on its left leg was sitting in the tree next to the nest at balgavies on monday,it circled and flew very low over the nest before heading west,i had a female shovelar with 6 ducklings at kinnordy on monday,this is the first time i have seen shovelar young
