2 Iceland Gulls on ploughed field at Castleton of Eassie today, stayed around most of the day. Barn Owl last night at Jericho on the same road , A94.
Some of the girls I work with have seen a Barn Owl at Glamis/ Charleston junction 3 times since Christmas, at around 7am each time.
Drake Smew was on Kinnordy Loch this afternoon, fairly mobile.

The juv/1st-winter Kumlien's Gull re-appeared briefly 4.40pm tonight at the sailing club, then flew off and landed in the roost at the east end. I couldn't re-find but there was a mass of constantly moving gulls there late on, including a 2nd winter and two juv/1st winter Iceland Gulls. SRG

Male Smew still at Kinnordy, despite only a couple of open areas...was at the Swamp end with 7 Whoopers this afternoon.
A Jay was outside the East hide and a flock of Redwing and Bullfinches were feeding just along the path among the leaf litter.

Montreathmont Forest - ~2pm

A treecreeper, robin, coal tits and Bullfinches on the main path.

Great, blue and coal tits at the feeders. Loads of siskin and a single redpoll with them. Several woodpeckers and a quickly disappearing Jay. Several robins, chaffinches and Dunnocks too.

Heard a bird sounding like a grasshopper along the path but no idea what it was.
