Forfar Loch, Swallow, House Martin, Sand Martin and Osprey
Forfar Loch 11/4/2016 on a cold windy morning.
1 Swallow and 1 House Martin with around 12 Sand Martins at the Yacht Club this morning. Also around the loch 2 Treecreepers and 1 Grey Wagtail at the west end. 1 Osprey with blue ring possibly something like BH (but poor light for photos) over various points on the loch. At the feeders near the spit a Yellowhammer male which looks to be lacking dark pigment, replaced by white/leucistic on its tertials. Still many Gadwall, a few Teal, Tufted Ducks and Goosander.
Elsewhere, my garden on the north edge of Arbroath, still 6 Tree Sparrows, and a fleeting visit by a Chiffchaff.
