Hawfinch
I know it's not Angus but Scone Palace is closer to Dundee than Montrose Basin.
A single Hawfinch was photographed today near the Lime Avenue, it appears to be flying around with a Mistle Thrush!
The Palace grounds are open Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 10am - 4 pm until December 18th, re-opening again February 3rd.

To make up for the poor quality of the Hawfinch photo, a Sparrowhawk from the Lurgies Path

To the attentive eye, each moment of the year has its own beauty, and in the same field, it beholds, every hour, a picture which was never seen before, and which shall never be seen again. --Ralph Waldo Emerson
